Doris (Crocetti) Keene, 88, died at the Northwest Medical Center in Margate, FL on Wednesday, February 1 after a period of failing health. She was the wife of the late Van Keane. Born in East Boston, she was educated in Boston schools. Mrs. Keane was a resident of Florida for 20 years after living in Stoughton for many years. She was a salesperson in retail stores.
Mrs. Keane is survived by her sisters, Thelma Johnson of IL and Cecelia Nickles of FL. In addition to her husband she was preceded in death by her daughter, Vandean Keane and her siblings, Olga Bova, Edith Babcock and Alfred Crocetti. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Funeral Prayers will be offered from the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St. (Rt. 27) Stoughton on Saturday, February 4 at 10 AM. Visitation prior from 9-10 PM. Interment will take place at Blue Hill Cemetery in Braintree. Donations in Doris’ name may be made to Hospice of SE Florida, 309 SE 18th St., Ft. Lauderdale, FL 33316.
