Mr. Robert F. Deziel, 76, of Methuen passed away on Sunday, January 19, 2020 at Holy Family Hospital in Methuen. The son of the late Roland and Lucille (Desilets) Deziel, he was born in Lawrence on June 28, 1943, and had been an area resident all his life. A graduate of Central Catholic High School ('61), Mr. Deziel was the owner of Deziel Insurance Agency in Methuen, a Certified Life Underwriter, member and past president of Holy Family Hospital Men's Guild, Member of the former LaSalle Club, and Fourth Degree member of the Knights of Columbus Council 4027 in Methuen and the Kansas City BBQ Society. Mr. Deziel loved to spend time with his family and friends. He is survived by his loving wife Barbara (Allen) Deziel of Methuen, one daughter; Linda and her husband Richard Sherry of Salem, MA, three sons; Robert Deziel and his wife Teresa of Woodbridge, VA, Michael Deziel and his wife Robin of Merrimac, MA, and David Deziel and his wife Lori of Amesbury, MA. There are ten grandchildren; Brandon Sealy, Thomas Deziel, Kelly Deziel, Jacob Deziel, Molly Deziel, Dillon Deziel, Corey Deziel, Gia Deziel, Alexis Sherry, and Ava Sherry. Three Great-Grandchildren Nathan Sealy, Hailey Rother, and Kenneth Sealy as well as many nieces and nephews. A funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday January 24, at St. Monica Church at 11:00 AM Burial will follow in St. Mary Cemetery in Newburyport.
