Jacqueiine E. (Morency) Norton Kelley, 90, a former resident of Salem, passed away on Thursday, January 9, 2020 in Largo, Florida. She was the wife of the late John R. Kelley and was the wife of the late Edward T. Norton.
Born in Salem and raised in Beverly she was the daughter of the late Leo H. and Annette (Morin) Morency. A graduate of St. Mary’s High School, Jackie devoted her younger years to the raising of her family. She later worked as clerical assistant for NYNEX for 20 years, retiring in 1991. She was a member of the Marblehead Council on Aging, Catholic Daughters of America, Salem Court 434 and was a Eucharistic Minister at Ste. Anne Parish in Salem. Jackie enjoyed any time spent with her grandchildren as well as traveling. Her hobbies included reading, walking & exercising and especially dancing. Jackie moved to Largo, from Salem, several years ago.
She is survived by her daughters, Dr. Pamela A. Norton and her husband, Dr. Joseph Potz of Blue Bell, PA, Nancy J. Norton of Largo, FL and Sandra J. Pezzulo and her husband Mark of Henniker, NH and her grandchildren, Anthony & Gianna Pezzulo and Amanda Norton. She also leaves her brother Roland ‘Moe’ Morency and his wife Patricia of Salem and several nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to her calling hours on Friday, January 24, 2020 at the Levesque Funeral Home, 163 Lafayette St. [Route 114 / 1-A] Salem from 9:00 to 11:00 A.M. to be followed by her Mass of Christian Burial in Ste.
