Lee Howard Criger, 72 passed away on January 16th, 2020 in Ventura, California. Lee was born in St. Petersburg, Florida to Howard Leroy Criger and Doris Ley on February 3, 1947. Lee was an extremely passionate man. He loved life, especially his hobbies of racing and working on his remote control cars for 33 years with his friends at the Roadrunners RC Club in Camarillo, CA.
Lee owned and operated Ojai Valley Glass for 44 years with his brother Kirby, and his wife Diana. Lee was very proud of the “glass shop” and his customers quickly became his friends.
Lee is survived by his wife Diana Williams-Criger of Oak View and her son David Murry Williams, grandchildren Alessa, Michael, Rebecca, David, Montgomery and Daniel. Mother Dotte Criger of Ojai, daughter, Angela Moran, of San Clemente, brother Kirby Criger of Ojai, niece Amber Alvarez of Oak View, 2 grandchildren Kaya and Kieran, and 4 great-nieces Meliya, Violet, Elodie and Juniper. Lee was preceded in death by his father, Howard Leroy Criger and his stepson, Clinton Lee Williams.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Ojai United Methodist Church in Ojai, California.
A celebration of life will be held at the Ojai United Methodist Church on Saturday, February 1, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. Lunch will be served immediately after the service.
