Mr. Feliciano “Phil” Vitagliano, age 76, died at home Tuesday Jan. 31, 2006 after a lengthy illness. Born in Winthrop, Phil was the son of the late Carmela (Pesaturo) & Feliciano Vitagliano.
Phil was the owner and operator of Phil´s Groceria, which was located in Medford Square. Phil retired in 1994 after operating the groceria for over 38 years.
Phil is survived by his beloved wife Aquilina ”Lee” (Greco) Vitagliano. Loving father of Laura Vitagliano and Steve Vitagliano both of Medford. Also survived by many dear cousins.
Funeral from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., MEDFORD, Saturday at 10 AM followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Joseph Church, 118 High St., Medford at 11 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Friday 4 thru 8. Services will conclude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
It has been requested that in lieu of flowers memorial contributions be made to Hallmark Health Hospice, 100 Hospital Rd. Malden, MA 02148 OR St. Jude Research Hospital, 500 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
