New Bedford – Hilda C. Vincent, 99, of New Bedford died January 31, 2006 at the New Bedford Jewish Convalescent Home.
Miss Vincent was born in New Bedford, daughter of the late Manuel L. and Antonia C. (Perreira) Vincent, and lived all of her life in the greater New Bedford area. The New Bedford Public School System employed her as an art teacher until her retirement. She was the Past President of the A.A.R.P., New Bedford Chapter. She loved art, traveling and playing the piano.
Survivors include her cousin and caretaker: Sara F. Soares of S. Dartmouth and several other cousins.
She was sister of the late Mary C. Vincent, Antone L. Vincent and Manuel P. Vincent.

Calling hours on Thursday, February 2, 2006, 4-7 P.M. and Friday, February 3, 2006, 10-11 A.M.
Funeral service on Friday, February 3, 2006 at 11:00 A.M. at the KIRBY FUNERAL HOME, 61 Tarkiln Hill Road, New Bedford.

Interment in St. John’s Cemetery, New Bedford.
