Betty Jean Bailey, 77, of Ocilla, Georgia, died Thursday, January 9, 2020, at Irwin County Hospital in Ocilla, Georgia.
Memorial services will be held at a later date.
Mrs. Bailey was born January 14, 1942, in Irwin County, Georgia, to the late William H. & Mildred Johnson Evans. She lived in the community all of her life and was owner and operator of Jean’s Beauty Shop in Ocilla.
She is survived by her husband of 39 years, William L. Bailey of Ocilla; a daughter, Rosa Kim Kennedy & Dale & of Ocilla; three grandchildren and a sister, Ann Wineberger of Amelia Island. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Mary E. Martin.
