WORCESTER— Dorothy M. Murphy died Saturday, January 28, 2006 at Saint Vincent Hospital/Worcester Medical Center in Worcester, MA of a long respiratory illness.
Dot was a resident of Sunbridge - Spring Valley, 81 Chatham Street, Worcester, MA, previously a resident of 30 Wellington Street, Worcester, MA. Born and raised in Worcester, Dot was the daughter of Stanley and Edna McKay who were born in Lithuania, she was the wife of James G. Murphy who died in 2003. She belongs to the body of Christ, a strong woman of Faith, a Christian, who Loved and Trusted her Lord Jesus Christ. Those who knew Dot experienced her giving heart in so many ways. She had a passion to Worship God, and always took every opportunity to Worship and Bible Study with like minded brothers and sisters in Christ. We will miss her presence here, but we thank God for the relationship and time He allowed us to have with her.
