SOLIS ORTIZ, Bishop Eliud At age 75, passed away peacefully on Friday, January 3, 2020 at his home in Norwood with his wife Elizabeth, children, and grandchildren at his bedside.
Beloved husband of Elizabeth (Villegas) Solis. Devoted father of Margarita Banks of Staten Island, NY, Eliud Solis Jr. of Dedham, Esmirna Solis of Norwood, Esdras Solis of Lewiston, ME, Elias Solis of Holbrook, and Eva Solis of Providence, RI. Also survived by 15 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
Visiting hours will be held at the Bethel A.M.E. Church, 40 Walk Hill St., Jamaica Plain on Wednesday, Jan. 8 from 4-8pm and on Thursday, Jan. 9 from 10-11am followed by a funeral service in the church beginning at 11am. Relatives and friends kindly invited.
