Abner Jean (78) of Brockton died January 3rd in the Good Samaritan Medical Center. He was the husband of Lisline (Lindor) Jean.
He was born in Cayes, Haiti son of the late Emercille and Thabito Jean and was a court judge and school teacher in his native country. Abner was a faithful member of the Haitian 7th Day Adventiste Church, enjoyed reading, playing dominoes and socializing with family and friends.
In addition to his wife he is survived by 8 daughters, Marie Claudia Pierre, Cathleen Auguste both of Brockton, Lunide Pierre-Canel of Middleboro, Adnia Michel of Fitchburg, Sophia Jean, Roslaine (Yaya) Jean, Aline Pierre and Marie Ronise Jacques all of Haiti, 5 sons, Wesner, Rubens and Peter Jean all of Brockton, Ricardo Jean of Holbrook and Roudly Jean of Haiti, 46 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
Funeral Services in the 7th Day Adventiste de Brockton Church, 237 Court Street Brockton Sunday January 12th at 10 am. Burial to follow in Central Cemetery, 327 North Street Randolph. Visitation in the Church from 9 am prior to services.
