Edna E. (Lewis) Garris, 94, of Anderson passed away on January 2, 2020 at Rawlins House in Pendleton,
She was born on December 30, 1925 in Bloomingdale. She is the daughter of Sanford and Elma (DeLong) Lewis. She was a graduate of Anderson High School and worked in food services for the Anderson Community Schools at Anderson High School. She attended the former Noble Street United Methodist Church.
Edna is survived by her daughter Charlotte (Dave) Goddard; 2 grandchildren, Shawn (Amber) Garris and Kevin (Debra) Goddard, 7 great grandchildren and 5 great great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William Garris, a son, Lewis Garris, a sister, Edith Williams and granddaughter, Kelly Goddard.
Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, January 7, 2020 at 11:30 a.m. at Anderson Memorial Park Cemetery.
Memorial contributions maybe given to the Animal Protection League, Madison County Humane Society or the donor's choice of charity.
