Esther (Kufeldt) Crnkovich, 91, of Carmel died December 29, 2019 at St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis after an extended illness.
Esther was born April 10, 1928, in Chicago, Illinois, the daughter of Henry and Lydia (Dorn) Kufeldt. She was the secretary at Redland Elementary School in Homestead, Florida and a Customer Service Representative at Southern Company in Mississippi. She loved music, cooking, church and her family. She was a member of the Joy Circle. Esther and her husband, Bob, served faithfully for many years at both Madison Park Church of God and Gulfport Church of God.
She is survived by her husband; Robert Leo Crnkovich of Carmel, whom she married on August 15, 1974 in Homestead, FL; three children, Brenda Proctor of Carmel; William (Marcene) Mosley of Salt Lake City, Utah and Jeff (Leah) Mosley of Carmel; sister, Marie Jernigan of Rockford, IL and Ed Kufeldt of Alexandria, VA; six grandchildren, Cole Proctor, Micah (fiancée, Grecia Michele) Mosley; Clayton (fiancée, Jenna Nigro) Mosley; Emma Mosley; Adam (Alicia) Mosley and Haylee (Spencer) Chase, and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, siblings, Dr. George Kufeldt, Walter Kufeldt, Benjamin Kufeldt and James Kufeldt.
Funeral services will be on Friday, January 3, 2020 at 1:00 p.m. at Rozelle-Johnson Funeral Service with Rev. Lloyd Bowen officiating. Burial will follow at Anderson Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 11:30 a.m. until the service on Friday.
