Ann A. Joyce
Devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother
TYNGSBORO- Ann A. (Keraghan) Joyce, age 76, a longtime resident of Tyngsboro, passed away suddenly at Lowell General Hospital surrounded by her family on Thursday, December 26, 2019.
She was the beloved wife of 54 years to Herbert R. Joyce, who passed away on January 7, 2016.
Born in Lowell on February 24, 1943, she was the daughter of the late Charles L. Keraghan and the late Clarice (Briere) Keraghan.
Ann was raised in Lowell and attended St. Patrick’s Elementary School and Lowell Public Schools.
She had been a parishioner of St. Mary Magdalen Parish in Tyngsboro.
Prior to her retirement, she was employed as an assembler by Wang Labs, Consolidated Design and the Electro Circuits Companies.
After retiring, Ann was a stay at home grandmother to her four beloved grandchildren.
She treasured spending time with her family. In addition, she enjoyed many activities including, crotchet, completing puzzles, trips to the beach, traveling to Florida and Foxwoods Resort & Casino, and playing bingo at St. Casimir’s, Ste Jeanne d’Arc, the Lowell Elks, and St. John The Evangelist.
Ann is survived by her children, Tammy A. Frotton and her husband Scott of Dracut, Debra A. Ratte´ and her husband Marc of Hudson, NH, and Michael H. Joyce of Tyngsboro; grandchildren, Shawn Frotton of Dracut, Thomas Frotton (God-Child) of Stamford, CT, Samantha and Emily Ratte´ of Hudson, NH; great grandchildren, Jonathan and Jacob Frotton of Dracut; siblings, Carol Turgeon and her husband Donald of Westford, Dennis Keraghan of Nashua, NH, Sandra Keraghan of Lowell. She leaves many nieces, nephews and extended family members.
Ann was the sister of the late Linda O’Toole and David Keraghan.
Calling hour is Tuesday, Dec. 31, from 10-11 a.m. at the Farmer & Dee Funeral Home, 16 Lee St., Tewksbury, immediately followed by a prayer service to be held in the funeral home. Services will conclude in the chapel at St. Joseph Cemetery, Chelmsford. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, 309 Waverley Oaks Road, Waltham, MA 02452.
