LACONIA-----Marcia L. Peaslee, of Laconia, NH, died Monday, December 16, 2019, at her residence after a long battle with cancer.
Marcia was born March 27, 1950, in Geneva, Indiana, daughter to the late Marion "Pud" and Beverly (Parr) Smith, the oldest of their six children.
Mrs. Peaslee was the widow of Harold W. Peaslee, who died on January 6, 2012. In their life, they enjoyed traveling and were lighthouse seekers, where they visited many of the lighthouses along the East Coast. Marcia also liked to read, was an experienced seamstress, liked to crochet and do needlework, collect cardinals and dolls, and she loved numerous four-legged friends.
Mrs. Peaslee is survived by her son, Kevin Zimmerman of Laconia, NH; her daughter, Marisa “Sunny” Sukumarabandhu, and three grandchildren, of Parrish, Florida. In addition to her parents and her husband, Mrs. Peaslee was predeceased by her grandparents, aunts and uncles.
There will be no calling hours.
A private graveside service will be held at the Church Cemetery in Orange, NH.
