Stephen Levis Barnes, Sr., 62, of Fitzgerald. Georgia, died Thursday, December 26, 2019, at his residence.
Private memorial services will be held at a later date.
Mr. Barnes was born September 13, 1957, in Baxley, Georgia, to the late Camie Levis & Carolyn Barnes. He worked for many years in construction. He was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting and fishing.
He is survived by his son, Travis & Beth Barnes of Collins; three step-daughters: Jessie Bryan, Leigh Ann Wood & Shannon, and Amber Turner, all of Fitzgerald; grandchildren: Alisa Barnes, Shai Barnes, Camlin Barnes, Olivia Barnes, Jeslyn Kate Waters, and Dakota Joyner; and step-grandchildren: Rylan Bryan, Ryder Bryan, Kyleigh Wood, Thomas Wood, Dillon Sumner, Tristan Sumner, Kirstan Sumner, and Anastan Sumner. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Stephen L. Barnes, Jr. and a daughter, Camie Joyner.
