Jean Acciardo, 62, died Monday, December 23, 2019. She was the beloved wife of Raymond Acciardo. They had been married for twenty-three years.
Born in Providence, she was a daughter of Frank and Josephine (Zanni) Parisi. She had worked in the Purchasing department of Rhode Island College for many years.
Besides her husband, she is survived by her children, Rachael Saltamachia of Chepachet, Shana A. DiPetrillo of Greenville, and Brett M. Thomas of Cranston, as well as her three grandchildren, Anthony, Stefania and Leo, and her sister, Joan Bernhardt of Easton, Pennsylvania. She is predeceased by her sister, Peggy Altomari.
Her funeral will be held Sunday at 7:00 pm in the Anderson-Winfield Home, Greenville. Burial will be private. Visitation will be held Sunday from 4-7 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the ASPCA, PO Box 96929, Washington, DC 20090-6929 or via www.aspca.org ASPCA
