Obituary

Millbury – Normand Audette, 75, of Millbury, died on Tuesday, December 24th in CareOne at Millbury with his family by his side after a battle with cancer.
Mr. Audette is survived by his wife of 56 years, Blanche L. (Allard) Audette; his two sons, Frederick A. Audette and his longtime companion, Sheila Moulton of Worcester and Normand R. Audette and his wife, Renee of Millbury; a daughter, Debra Pousland and her husband, Kenneth Jr. of Millbury; a sister, Pauline Gaudet of Worcester; 8 grandchildren, Ashley, Stephanie, Lindsey, Rebecca, Kristen, Chelsey, Sarah and Joseph; 1 great grandchild, Joelle and many nephews and nieces.
Normand was born in Worcester, son of the late Frederick and Irene (Thibeault) Audette and is predeceased by two daughters, Donna Marie Audette and Denise L. Audette; two brothers, Gerard Audette and Frederick Audette; four sisters, Marie Annette Bertrand, Yvonne Campbell, Therese O’Donnell and Lillian Bennett and his best friend, Bobby Cranston.
Mr. Audette owned and operated Audette’s Auto Body in Worcester for over 50 years and was still working. Normand was a fun-loving man with a generous heart who loved to spend time with his family and friends. He could often be found out to dinner or entertaining on his boat “Satisfaction” where he was always the life of the party. He will be greatly missed by all that knew him.
The funeral will be held on Saturday, December 28th from the Alfred Roy & Sons Funeral Home 12 Hammond Street Worcester, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 AM in Saint Brigid Church 59 Main St. Millbury. Burial will follow in Notre Dame Cemetery, Worcester. Calling hours will be held on Friday, December 27th from 5 to 8 pm in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers the family asks that contributions be made to either Saint Brigid Church 59 Main Street Millbury, MA 01527 or to the Dana Farber Cancer Institute 450 Brookline Street Boston, MA 02215.
