Enrico A. Colangeli, of Medford, passed away peacefully at home on Monday, December 23rd, surrounded by his loving family. He was 73 years old. Enrico was born in Malden to the late Viginio and Vincenzina (Palermo) Colangeli.
Enrico served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War from 1963 to 1966. He was employed as a general contractor in the construction industry. He also enjoyed deer hunting.
Most important to Enrico though, was the time he enjoyed spending with his family and friends and all those precious memories that will always be cherished.
Enrico was predeceased by his beloved wife Lynda E.(Repucci), who recently passed away in September of 2019. He was the devoted father of Deanna Capone and her husband Stephen of North Reading, Gina Donnelly and her husband Michael of North Reading, Enrico Colangeli, Jr. of Medford and Major Michael Colangeli, US Army, of Ft. Bragg, North Carolina. Enrico was the loving grandfather of Giavanna, Catarina, Stephen, Amelia, Mikey and Patrick. Dear brother of John Colangeli of Andover, Madeline Gagliardi of Revere and the late Eugene Colangeli of Medford.
Enrico’s funeral will be held from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford, on Monday, December 30th at 10 AM followed by a funeral Mass in St. Clement Church, 71 Warner St., Medford at 11 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Services will conclude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford. Visiting hours will be held on Sunday, December 29th from 3 through 7 PM.
