Obituary

Anna M. (Bacci) DiGravio, age 92, of Brockton for over 62 years, passed away December 20, 2019 at Baypointe Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. Anna was the loving wife for 62 years of Nello E. DiGravio. Born in San Gimignano, a beautiful hilltop town in Tuscany, Italy on April 30, 1927 to the late Giuseppe Bacci, an Interpreter for American Express in Florence and Rome and Enrichetta (Frosali) Bacci, a marvelous cook and seamstress. Anna was educated in Florence and Sianna, Italy, and had been an elementary school teacher.

Anna enjoyed knitting, embroidery, crocheting and her flower garden.

Anna was the loving mother of Alan Neal DiGravio of Brooklyn, NY and Gina Wilczewski and her husband John of Bridgewater. Anna cherished her grandchildren Emily Barbara and John Neal “Jack” Wilczewski of Bridgewater and her many nieces and nephews and grand nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held in the Conley Funeral Home, 138 Belmont Street (Rte 123) Brockton, Saturday, December 28, from 10-11am followed by a funeral service at 11am. Burial in Blue Hill Cemetery, Braintree. Donations in Anna’s name may be made to the Boston Children’s Hospital, 300 Longwood Avenue, Boston, MA 02115 or the charity of your choice.
