Westfield, Mass. – Martin (Marty) Joseph Traynor Jr., husband of Ursula Louise Traynor, passed away peacefully in Holyoke, Mass. on December 18th, 2019.
Martin was born in Plattsburgh, NY. He was 81 years old and succumbed after a lengthy illness.
Martin is survived by his daughter and son in law, Lisa and John of Marlborough, Mass. and his wife Ursula of Westfield, Mass. His three brothers, David Bonner Traynor of Loveland, CO, John Michael Traynor of Houston, Texas, and James Francis Traynor also of Houston, TX and his parents, Rena Falcon Traynor and Martin Traynor predeceased him.
Martin enjoyed a lengthy career in retailing and as an inspector for Pratt & Whitney in CT. Martin was extremely outgoing, always had a positive outlook on life, and was generous to all. He was a loving and devoted father and husband. Martin was always joking with everyone making all who met him laugh. He will be deeply missed by his family and friends.
A funeral service will be held at St Mary’s Church in Westfield, Mass.
