Grace Griffin Bryant, 99, of Fitzgerald, Georgia, died Friday, December 20, 2019, at Lifecare Center in Fitzgerald, Georgia.
Graveside services will be held 2 PM, Monday, December 23, 2019, at Evergreen Cemetery in Fitzgerald, Georgia with the Rev. John Gibbs, Jr. and the Rev. Ike Thomas officiating.
Ms. Bryant was born September 8, 1920, in Rebecca, Georgia, to the late James S. & Lucille Elizabeth Hilton Griffin. She has lived in the community for over 30 years and retired from the Marine Base in Albany, Georgia, where she was a purchasing agent. Ms. Bryant enjoyed sewing, crafts and flowers. She was of the Baptist faith.
She is survived by her daughter, Lyndia “Sis” Prescott & Jerry of Fitzgerald; grandchildren: Jeremy Prescott of Fitzgerald and Amy Prescott of Fitzgerald; and two brothers: Randy Griffin of Orlando, Florida and Jack Griffin of California. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Jimmy Lewis Bryant.
