Oliver Wayne Paul, 60, of Irwin County, Georgia, died Friday, December 20, 2019, at Rehabilitation Center of South Georgia, in Tifton, Georgia.
Funeral services will be held 3 PM, Saturday, December 21, 2019, at The Paulk Funeral Home Chapel in Ocilla, with the Rev. Dr. Jeff Pangle officiating. Interment will follow in the Pinetta Cemetery, in Irwin County, Georgia. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the services at the funeral home in Ocilla.
Mr. Paul was born August 7, 1959, in Ocilla, Georgia, to the late Jesse James & Donnie Jewell Mixon Paul. He lived in Irwin County all of his life and was of the Baptist faith.
He is survived by four sisters: Margie Gonser of Macon, Frances Norman of Nashville, Carolyn Burns of Ty Ty and Donnie Thompson & Bo of Tifton and a brother, Charles Paul of Ocilla. Several nieces and nephews also survive. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers: Lavaughn Paul and Thomas Paul.
