Aurea E. Lozada (83) of Brockton died December 18th in the Good Samaritan Medical Center surrounded by her family. She was the wife of Victor Colon.
She was born in Ciales, Puerto Rico daughter of the late Luis Lozada and Baciliza Acevedo. Aurea was a communicant of St. Patrick’s Church and enjoyed watching soap operas and religious shows.
In addition to her husband she is survived by 6 sons, Victor Colon of Tennessee, Luis Antonio (Tono) Colon of Brockton, Angel Colon of Roxbury, Felix Colon of Boston, Orlando Colon of Chelsea and Norberto Colon of Florida, 7 daughters, Carmen, Luz and Eneida Colon all of Brockton, Iraida and Maria Colon both of Puerto Rico, Miriam Colon of Chelsea and Migdalia Colon of Jamaica Plain, 3 brothers, Pedro Lozada of Boston, Miguel and Cholo Lozada both of Puerto Rico, 2 sisters, Mary (Cili) and Mina Lozada both of Puerto Rico, many grand and great grandchildren.
Visitation in the Home of Funerarias Multi Culturel 238 Court Street Brockton Sunday December 22nd from 4-8 pm. Burial will take place next week in her home country of Puerto Rico.
