FALL RIVER – Diamantina Sousa, age 88, passed away on December 17, 2019 at the Catholic Memorial Home surrounded by her loving family. She was the beloved wife of the late Eduardo Sousa. Born in Vila Franca, Sao Miguel, Acores, she was the daughter of the late Joao and Maria da Luz (Rebello) Cafua. Prior to retirement she worked at Berkshire Hathaway for over 20 years. Diamantina loved to crochet and spending time with family, especially her grandchildren.
Diamantina is survived by her children Jose Sousa and his wife Sandra and Ana Medeiros and her husband Antonio, all of Fall River; 10 grandchildren Grace, E.J., Steve, Jose, Ricky and Kevin Madeira, Christina de Oliveira, Jason Medeiros, Cindy Oliveira and Joseph Sousa. She was predeceased by her daughter Terezinha de Sousa and 6 siblings.
