Carolyn Louise Tucker Ray, 75, of Enigma passed away Tuesday, December 17, 2019, at her residence. Her funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, December 20, 2019, in the Chapel of Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals with the Rev. Joseph L. Crumley officiating. Mrs. Ray will be laid to rest at Turner Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery in Enigma. The family will receive friends Thursday, December 19, 2019, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals.
Anthony Barnes, Anthony Aultman, Mark Purvis, Jakie Goddard, Michael Spurlin and Harley Funderburke will serve as pallbearers.
Born August 13, 1944 in Cook County, Mrs. Ray was the daughter of the late Clayton and Nancy Tucker. She was also preceded in death by her husband, John Arthur Ray. She was a homemaker.
Mrs. Ray is survived by two sons, Chris Ray and Greg Ray, both of Enigma; two daughters, Lisa Ray of Tifton and Suzan Wood of Enigma; two sisters, Betty Ann Troupe of Tifton and Delores Shearl of Lakeland, Florida; seven grandchildren; and sixteen great-grandchildren.
