CORNISH- Arthur A. Welch, age 86, of Cornish, went to be with our Lord on Dec. 15, 2019.
He was born in Mexico, Maine on Nov. 17, 1933 to Percy and Doris (Davis) Welch. Arthur was educated in Porter, Maine. He worked several years as a body mechanic and for Walker Chevolet.
Arthur is survived by his wife Marianne (Kiskila) Welch for 47 years. He also leaves behind his siblings, Alfred Welch of Nevada, Norma D’Onfrio and her husband Edward of MA, and Bob Welch and his wife Luanne of Michigan. He is also survived by his three children- Ann Marie Mullins of Lewiston, John Wing and his wife Jean of Hiram, and Julie James of Standish; his stepdaughter- Sandra Watts of Cornish; his cherished lifelong friend- Charles Whitney of Cornish; sister -in – law- Shirley Kiskila Huff of Standish; brother – in - law- Arthur Kiskila of Cushing; and his nephew- Scott Reed of Scarborough.
A burial service will be announced in the spring at Riverside Cemetery in Cornish.
