TEWKSBURY: Joseph W. Melito, age 59, recently of Epsom, NH, passed away in Concord, NH on Monday, December 9, 2019.
Born in Boston on July 5, 1960, he was the son of the late James V. Melito, Jr. and the late Nancy A. (Hernon) Melito.
Joe was raised in Norton and Tewksbury, attended the Norton and Tewksbury schools. He graduated from Shawsheen Valley Technical High School in 1979, where he specialized in small engine repair. Joe later received certification in computer programming and repair from the Computer Programming Institute formerly of Cambridge.
He was employed for the past 12 years as a sales associate by the Home Depot in Concord, NH. In addition, Joe was also a sound engineer at the Kahala Restaurant in Nashua before he became the original sound engineer for the Paradise Beach Club at Weirs Beach in Laconia, NH.
Joe lived in Tewksbury, MA, Laconia, NH, and Concord, NH for 8 years, until recently moving to Epsom, NH.
He enjoyed riding his Harley Davidson Flathead Motorcycle, dirt biking, snowmobiling, target shooting, and playing the guitar and bass. He had an eclectic taste in music and loved listening to the sounds of jazz and rock.
Joe’s family includes siblings, Nancy A. Lebeau and her husband Kevin, and James D. Melito and his late wife, Dana Ann (Sheridan) all of Tewksbury; his niece, Ashley A. Melito of Derry, NH and his late nephew, Michael F. Limosani.
Family and friends are invited to his memorial calling hours on Saturday, December 21, from 2-4 p.m. at the Farmer & Dee Funeral Home, 16 Lee St., Tewksbury, immediately followed by a prayer service to be held at the funeral home.
