Carol Skubby Carter, 73, of Medfield, died Sunday, December 1, 2019 at the Thomas Upham House. She was the beloved wife of the late Edward A. Carter. She is succeeded by her loving son John Carter and her beloved sister Frances Skubby Walker.
Mrs. Carter was born in Meriden, Connecticut on December 26, 1945 and was the daughter of the late John and Helen (Safranek) Skubby.
She was a graduate of Lyman Hall High School in Wallingford, Connecticut. She earned her Bachelor's Degree at the University of Connecticut and her Master's Degree from Boston University.
She was a Master Teacher at Newton Elementary.
Mrs. Carter loved reading, doll collecting, decorating and tending to her family.
Her funeral services will be held privately in Wallingford CT at the request of the her family and are under the care of the Ginley Funeral Home, 892 Main St. in Walpole (www.ginleyfuneralhomes.com).
