TEWKSBURY - Mr. Didio M. De Lemos, 77, passed away peacefully on Thursday December 12th at Lowell General Hospital- Saints Campus with his loving family by his side.
Didio was born on October 16, 1942 in Azores, Portugal, the son of the late Antonio Pedroso and Gertrudes (Moreira de Avila) Lemos. Didio was the loving husband to the late Nilza (Ferreira) Delemos whom he lost in November 17, 2019.
He worked over the years for Mt Auburn Hospital, Santa Maria Hospital and at Mt. Auburn Cemetery in the grounds keeping department.
Didio is survived by his son, Sergio M. Lemos and his wife Giovana, his daughter, Ana M. Arruda and her husband John; his three sisters, Alda Maria Bettencourt and her husband Jose Augusto, Gertrudes Camara and her husband Henrique, Maria Alda Sousa; five grandchildren, Kelley Santos and her husband Kenneth, Michael Arruda and his wife Heidi, Miranda Lemos and her fiancé Corky Schipper, Fatima Lemos, Elysia Lemos: a great grandchild, Victoria Maria Santos; and several nieces and nephews.
Didio was predeceased by his first wife Maria Fatima De Lemos , his sister, Leocadia Silva and her brother in law, Jose Sousa
Visiting hours are Tuesday, December 17th from 10:00am to 1:00pm in the TEWKSBURY FUNERAL HOME, corner of 1 Dewey St and 975 Main St (Rt38) TEWKSBURY CENTER, phone(800 in MA or 978) 851-2950.
