Anthony Wayne “Tony” Gray, 34, of Tifton passed away Tuesday, December 10, 2019, at his residence. His funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, December 14, 2019, in the Chapel of Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals with the Rev. Brandon Jordan officiating. Mr. Gray will be laid to rest at Rocky Creek Church Cemetery in Worth County. The family will receive friends Saturday, December 14, 2019, at Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals from 1:00 p.m. until the hour of the service.
Jerry McAllister, Pete McAllister, Richard McAllister, B. J. Gray, Austin Youngblood, Matthew Henderson and Gavin Henderson will serve as pallbearers.
Born May 6, 1985 in Tifton, Mr. Gray with the son of Roy F. Gray of Norman Park and Erma May McAllister of Tifton. He loved all children; he loved animals; and he loved to fish and anything outdoors. He was known as “Unk Unk” by nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Doyle K. Gray; and his maternal grandfather, Carl F. McAllister.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Gray is survived by his paternal grandmother, Geraldine Gray of Norman Park; his maternal grandmother, Rosie McAllister of Tifton; one brother and sister-in—law, B. J. and Christy Gray of Fitzgerald; one sister and brother-in-law, Krystal and Austin Youngblood of Camp Lejeune, North Carolina; two nieces, Chloe Hubbell and Emily Gray; and one nephew, Jackson Hubbell.
