Chicopee – James E. Kenney, age 59, passed away on Dec. 7, 2019 at Baystate Medical Center. He was born on May 14, 1960 in Holyoke, a son of the late Edward and Lucielle (Marcotte) Kenney. James served in the USMC and later worked as a gun assembler for Savage Arms. He was a parishioner of the Valley Baptist Chapel in Chicopee. James was an avid sports enthusiast and a camp counselor at Pine Brook in Shutesbury. He is survived by his loving wife Linda Kenney of Chicopee; 1 son, Isaiah Kenney of Chicopee; 2 daughters, Vanessa Kenney of Springfield and Tiara Kenney of Chicopee; 1 brother Edward James Kenney of Chicopee; 1 sister Kathleen Raymond and her husband James of Anchorage, AL along with 4 beloved grandchildren, Jasari, Apollo, Killian and Baby Isaiah. Calling hours will be held on the morning of the funeral,Friday, Dec. 13, 2019 from 9:00 -11:00 AM followed by a Prayer Service at 11:00 AM. Burial will take place in Fairview Cemetery.
