June A. (Robert) Brogden, 86 of New Bedford died December 10, 2019 at Sacred Heart Home.
She was the wife of the late James E. "Ed" Brogden, Sr.
Born in New Bedford, the daughter of the late Albert and Sarah (Griffith) Robert and the step-daughter of the late Doris (Daley) Robert, she lived in New Bedford all of her life.
She was a communicant of Holy Name of the Sacred Heart of Jesus Church.
Mrs. Brogden was formerly employed by Shawmut Bank for many years and also was a bus monitor for Tremblay Bus Company and a crossing guard for Kempton School.
She enjoyed reading.
Survivors include 3 sons, James Brogden, Jr. and his wife Pamela of Dartmouth, Robert Brogden and Joseph Brogden, both of New Bedford; a daughter, Doreen Brogden of New Bedford; 3 grandchildren, Candace, Joelene and Patrysha; several nieces and nephews.
Her Funeral will be held on Saturday, December 14th at 8 AM from the Saunders-Dwyer Home for Funerals, 495 Park St., New Bedford, followed by her Funeral Mass at Holy Name of the Sacred Heart of Jesus Church at 9 AM. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery. Visiting hours will be on Friday, December 13th from 4-7 PM.
