Regina C. (Pelletier) O'Brien, a longtime resident of Andover and beloved wife of Thomas J. O'Brien, passed away suddenly at their home on Friday morning, December 6, 2019. She was 70 years old.
Born in Everett, Massachusetts, on January 6, 1949, she was the beloved daughter of the late Robert G. and Regina M. (Gurnon) Pelletier. Regina enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and watching Red Sox and Patriots games. She was also a longtime communicant of St. Robert Bellarmine Church in Andover where she served as Lecture.
In addition to her beloved husband Thomas, Regina is survived by her loving sons; Kevin M. and his wife Cindy J. O'Brien of Townsend and Dennis P. O'Brien of Boston, grandchildren; Caitlin and Kevin O'Brien both of Townsend, sister; Janice E. Carmichael of Haverhill, brother-in-law; George D. O'Brien and nieces and nephews; Sean P. Carmichael of Haverhill, Robert R. Carmichael of Omaha, NE, Chris O'Brien of Plymouth and Kimberly Scott of Boulder, CO. She was also the sister of the late Joseph Pelletier and sister-in-law of the late Ralph A. Carmichael and late John J. O’Brien.
Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated in St. Robert Bellarmine Church, 198 Haggett's Pond Road, Andover on Saturday, December 14, 2019, at 10:30 AM. Relatives and friends are most welcome to attend. Calling hours will be held in the church on Friday, December 13, 2019, from 4 to 8 PM. Interment will be held in the St. Mary Cemetery in Tewksbury.
