June (Tarabelli) Kazan a resident of Melrose for over 50 years died on Saturday, January 28, 2006 at Caritas St. Elizabeth’s Hospital in Brighton. She was 77 years old. Born in Needham, she was the daughter of the late Rose (Lupo) and Joseph Tarabelli. Mrs. Kazan attended Needham public schools and was a graduate of Needham High School Class of 1946. She was a member of the Poish American Veteran’s Auxiliary of Cambridge. The beloved wife for 57 years of Alfred F. Kazan, she was the sweet mother of Kathleen “KK” Dirickson of Novato, CA. Sister of Joseph Tarabelli of Mashpee and the late Carl Tarabelli, she is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends will gather at the Eaton Funeral Home 1351 Highland Avenue Needham on Tuesday Jan. 31st at 10:00 AM and proceed to Needham Cemetery for graveside services at 11:00 AM. Visiting hours will be held on Monday from 3-6 PM. In lieu of flowers donations in June’s name may be made to the American Diabetes Association, 330 Congress Street, 5th Floor, Boston MA 02210.
