Fabio Veiga Nunes (22) of Brockton died tragically in the city on December 3rd. He was the loving son of Joao Nunes of Brockton and Maria Eugenia Nunes Da Veiga of Cabo Verde also his step mother Maria Fernandes of Brockton.
He was born in Praia, Santiago, Cabo Verde and was in the construction trade. Fabio was a Brockton High graduate, communicant of St. Edith Stein Church, enjoyed playing soccer, karate, riding motorcycles, listening to music, joking around and socializing with family and friends.
In addition to his parents he is survived by 3 brothers, Roel Nunes of Pennsylvania, Javier Nunes and Jonathan Nunes both of Fall River, 3 sisters, Jeslene and Leanne Nunes both of Brockton and Luna Da Veiga of Cape Verde, many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Services from the Home of Funerarias Multi Culturel 238 Court Street Brockton Monday December 9th at 9:30 am. Followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Edith Stein Church 71 E Main Street Brockton at 10:30 am. Burial will follow in Melrose Cemetery. Visitation in the Funeral Home December 8th from 4-9 pm.
