Donna Marie "Grandma" (Miller) Smith, 91, of Anderson entered the gates of Heaven on December 2, 2019, surrounded by her family who loved her dearly.
She was born July 3, 1928 in Clinton, IN the daughter of Oscar and Maude (Workman) Miller. She graduated from Clinton High School and Ball State University. Donna along with her husband Harlan, owned and operated Smith's Kiddie Care for 21 years, where she was known as Grandma Smith by all the children. She retired in 1997. She was a member of Landmark Baptist Church in Anderson.
Donna is survived by her four children, Rickie (Diana) Smith, Hardie (Jayme Lee) Smith, Rocky (Karen) Smith and Penny (Bruce) Fisher; 19 grandchildren, 40 great grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two husbands Harlan Smith and Cecil Holland; son, Jerry, granddaughter, Sandra Smith , two brothers and five sisters.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, December 7, 2019 at Rozelle-Johnson Funeral Service with Pastor Gary Woodring officiating.
Burial will follow at East Maplewood Cemetery.
Visitation will be held Saturday from 11 a.m. until the service at 1 p.m.
Memorial contributions may be given to Landmark Baptist Church.
