Ann Cring, 86, of Irwin County, Georgia, died Tuesday, December 3, 2019, at her residence.
Memorial services will be held 1 PM, Saturday, December 14, 2019, at Pine Level United Methodist Church in Fitzgerald, with the Rev. Don Woeltjen officiating. The family will greet friends following the service.
Mrs. Cring was born July 3, 1933, in Columbus, Ohio, to the late George H. & Lucille Williams Albery. She worked as a bookkeeper for 1st National Bank in Miami, Florida for 15 years and moved to Fitzgerald, Georgia in 1981. Mrs. Cring was a very active volunteer for the American Red Cross Blood drives, working alongside Betty Boyd and Latrelle Bagley. She helped move the Library in Fitzgerald from the Carnegie Center to the current location on Main Street. Mrs. Cring was a member of Pine Level United Methodist Church and served in the nursery and sang in the choir.
She is survived by her son, Bradley Keith Cring, Sr. & Jessica of Wray; two grandsons: Bradley Keith Cring, Jr. and Alex Hitt; granddaughter, Kenlea Ann Cring; two great-grandchildren, Bentley and Autumn; and a brother, Bruce Albery of Florida. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Doyle Cring; a son, Glen Doyle Cring and eight siblings.
