Grace Goodman (Lapidus), 93, of Kingwood, Tx, formerly of Flemington, NJ and Everett, MA, beloved wife of the late Morris Goodman died November 27th at Village Green Alzheimer Care Ctr. Kingwood, Tx. Born, raised and educated in Everett, Grace attended Everett Schools and continued her education at Fisher Business School, Boston Dispensary and School of Laboratory Technique.
Grace had worked in law offices, real estate, investment companies and retired from working in pharmaceutical research. Grace was a former member of Women’s American ORT and the Flemington Jewish Community Ctr. Prior to moving to Texas Grace had been a long-time resident of New Jersey living there since 1951.
Grace is survived by her four children, Leba G. Glazner, Alan E. Goodman, Kenneth Goodman and Marsha G. Gatling. She also leaves grandchildren Nathaniel Shallenberger, Benjamin Shallenberger Angeloni, Perry Goodman, Lily G. Seibert, Tori Gaitlin, Dominic and Donnie Goodman, and great granddaughter Chloe Shallenberger, and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her sisters Beatrice L. Madon and Adele L. Siegel.
Graveside services at Congregation Atereth Israel Cemetery Baker St. West Roxbury, Tuesday at 2PM. Memorial observance to be held at a later date. Contributions in her memory may be made to The Alzheimer’s Association, www.act.alz.org
