Mr. Samuel F. Blampye, a resident of Lawrence and beloved husband of the late Carolyn A. Blampye, passed away at the High Pointe Hospice House in Haverhill on Wednesday, November 27, 2019. He was 73 years old.
Born in Boston, Massachusetts on December 29, 1945, he was the beloved son of the late Charles J. and Daisy (Barwell) Blampye. Sam was a veteran of the United States Army. He was retired from the US Postal Service. He also worked as a Window Washer for many years.
In his spare time, Samuel enjoyed visiting Foxwoods and following the Red Sox and Patriots.
He is survived by his loving children; Sam Porocaro-Brooks and his wife Anna of Arab, Alabama, Melissa (Porcaro) Stewart and her husband Maco, Daniel Mancini and his wife Jennifer of Andover, Michael Blampye and his wife Annie of San Francisco, California, step-children; Robin Panzini and her husband John, Stacie LaBossiere, Kristen St. Laurent and her wife Michelle Russell, siblings; Roy Blampye and his wife Rose of Dover, New Hampshire, Leon Machado and his wife Karen of Attleboro and many nieces and nephews and several grandchildren. He was also the brother of the late Robert, Walter, Charles, Irene and Florence Blampye and Doris Smith.
Visitation will be held in the Burke-Magliozzi Funeral Home, 390 North Main Street, Andover on Monday, December 2, 2019, from 4 to 7 PM. Relatives and friends are most welcome to attend. Interment will be privately held. For additional information, please visit, www.burkemagliozzi.com.
