Dartmouth – Orlen George Oakleaf, age 85, of Dartmouth, passed away on Thursday, November 28, 2019 at Royal of Fairhaven Nursing Home. He was the beloved companion of Laura Roy.
Orlen was born in Marsland, Ohio to the late Orlen Garreth Oakleaf and Dorothy Blume (May) Oakleaf. He was also the husband of the late Barbara (Harris) Oakleaf. Orlen was a sea captain for Sea Tow for many years.
He is survived by his companion, Laura and his daughters, Mymie Oakleaf and Melody Nelson.
The family would like to thank the staff at the Royal of Fairhaven Nursing Home for their compassion and special care they took with Orlen.
Orlen’s funeral services were private.
