Diane M. (Chakuas) Vincent, 48 of Manchester, NH died Friday January 27, 2006 at her home. Diane was born in Ware, MA on February 17, 1957, a daughter of the late Albert and Geraldine (Davis) Chakuas. She had resided in Manchester for less than one year having previously lived in Derry, NH. She had also lived in Worcester and E. Brookfield, MA. Diane was a graduate of Spencer High School in Spencer, MA and later attended Worcester School of Art in Worcester. She was an inspiring artist and musician. She worked in furniture sales for several years, most recently employed at Leather Expressions of Furniture World in Salem, NH. She was formerly employed by Bob’s Discount Furniture.
She is survived by her partner, Susan E. Daland of Derry, her sister, Nancy Mongeon and her husband Eugene of E. Brookfield, MA, two nephews, Eugene Mongeon Jr., of Brookfield, Shane Mongeon of E. Brookfield, her great nephew, Zachary Mongeon and great niece, Cheyenne Mongeon both of Brookfield. She will also be greatly missed by the family of Susan E. Daland.
Calling hours were Sunday January 29th from 12 – 3pm in the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 15 Birch St., Derry. Funeral services were held on Monday at 9:30am in the funeral home. Committal services were offered on Monday at 2:00pm at Worcester Memorial Park in Paxton, MA. Memorial contributions may be made to the Greater Derry Humane Society, 57 Lawrence Rd., Derry, NH 03038.
