James Randall “Jim” Tison, 47, of Albany, Georgia, died Thursday, January 26, 2006, at Fairview Hospital in Dublin, Georgia.
Funeral services will be held 2 P.M., Sunday, January 29, 2006, at the Paulk Funeral Home Chapel, Fitzgerald, with Rev. Greg Carroll and Rev. James Griffin officiating. Interment will follow in Evergreen Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7 until 9, Saturday evening at the funeral home.
Mr. Tison was born October 1, 1958, in Fitzgerald, Georgia, to Dorothy Lee Tison and the late Thomas Marvin Tison. He lived in Dougherty County since 1989 and was a 1976 graduate of Fitzgerald High School. Mr. Tison was a Field Service Engineer with Abbott Laboratories. He was a veteran of the United States Navy, having served for eight years.
Mr. Tison is survived by his wife: Carol K. Tison of Albany; children: Michael Adam Tison, Samantha M. Tison and Benjamin A. Tison, all of Albany; Mother: Dorothy Lee Tison of Fitzgerald; brothers: Wayne Tison of Fitzgerald and Tommy ”Tom” Tison of Mesa, AZ and several nieces and nephews.
