PACKER, Sharon L. Sharon L. Packer, 58, died Tuesday, (January 24, 2006) at H. Lee Moffitt Cancer Center of Tampa, FL. Born in Waterbury, December 26, 1947. She and her husband Tom owned Green and Packer Funeral Home. She moved to Sarasota, Fl in 1980 from Naugatuck. Sharon graduated from VoTech School of Nursing in 1983. For 10 years she was Dr. John Binns nurse at Sarasota Medical Associates. For the past 10 years, she was a nursing supervisor at Manor Care Health Services. She was one of the founders of Packer Funeral Home in 2001 and served as Vice President. She was a Eucharist Minister and member of Incarnation Church. She was a member of the Womens Auxillary of Knights of Columbus #3358. She is survived by her husband Tom of 35 years; a son Tom Jr. of Sarasota; a brother Donald McNamara of Sarasota; a granddaughter Kathryn; and a great niece Kayla McNamara of Weare, NH. Visitation will be Monday - Jan. 30, from 6-8 p.m. at Mulville Funeral Home. Mass will be on Tuesday at 10 a.m. at the Immaculate Conception Church. Burial will be in All Saints Cemetery.
