On November 20, 2019, Thomas Barley husband of Joe Ann Barley (deceased) and Annelle Story Barley (deceased) received his heavenly call and departed his life here to enter into eternity with the Lord Jesus Christ. Tom’s life was a life of service to all of his family, country, and those that were blessed to know him. He was a loving and dedicated husband, father and friend.
Survived by his son Tom Barley and daughter Arecia Barley-Jones along with his stepchildren Don Story, Craig Story and Marisa Story; his granddaughters Mariah Butler (Ryan Butler), and Ashley Griffin (Justin Griffin); step-grandchildren Michelle Story, Shannon Story, Timothy Casebolt, Christina Lewis, Anna Story Rogers; brother Richard Barley; nieces Gwen Barley and Cynthia Cowgill.
The visitation is Sat., Nov. 23, 2019, 2:30 p.m. - 3:30 p.m. at Berryhill Funeral Home followed by the funeral service at 3:30 p.m. officiated by Dr. Alan Weatherly.
A graveside service will be held 2:30 PM, Wednesday, November 27, 2019, at Mt. Zion Cemetery in Wilcox County, GA. The family will receive friends beginning at 12:30 PM, Wednesday at the Dix Homeplace, 3977 Highway 129, Abbeville, GA.
