Obituary

Joseph J. Kolesinski, 90, died at home in Stoughton on Thursday, January 26. He was the husband of the late Mary E. (George) Kolesinski. Born in Cambridge, he was educated in Boston Schools. Mr. Kolesinski was a resident of Stoughton for 40 years. He was an U.S. Navy Veteran of World War II with the SeaBees and was awarded a Bronze Star. He was a truck driver for Framingham Salvage Co. for 50 years before retiring 2 years ago. He was a member of the VFW in South Boston. He was an avid gardener and enjoyed walking and spending time in the sunshine.

Mr. Kolesinski is survived by his children, Joseph C. Kolesinski of Canton, Paul T. Kolesinski of S. Boston, Maryellen Clark, Charles L. Kolesinski and Robert W. Kolesinski all of Stoughton and Albert J. Kolesinski of NH, as well as his siblings, Nellie Baldyga of Norwell, Victoria Dowling of Hanover and Alexander Kolesinski of Wollaston. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren & 11 great-grandchildren. In addition to his wife he was preceded in death by his sister, Helen Romboli.

Funeral will be held from the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St. (Rt. 27) Stoughton on Tuesday, January 31 at 9:15 AM followed by a Funeral Mass at Immaculate Conception Church, Stoughton at 10:15 AM. Visiting Hours Monday 5-8 PM. Interment will take place at Knollwood Memorial Park in Canton. Donations in Joseph’s name may be made to the American Heart Assn., 20 Speen St., Framingham, 01701.
