Dorothy H. Mills, 96, formerly of Putnam Pike, Harmony, died Wednesday, January 25, 2006. She was the wife of the late Parker Mills, MD.
Born in Belfast, Ireland, she was a daughter of the late William M. and Margaret (McCormack) Houston. She had been a resident of Harmony for 55 years. She was a 1931 graduate of the RI Hospital School of Nursing.
She is survived by David P. Mills of Riverside, Dorothy L. Wing and Virginia R. Spencer both of Florida, Constance R. Drew of Hyannis, MA and Sarah E. Gorman of Washington, DC., 13 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren.
Her Funeral Service will be held Saturday at 9:30am in the ANDERSON-WINFIELD Funeral Home, Rt.44 at Greenville Common,Greenville. Burial in North Burial Ground, Providence. Visitation is Saturday 8:30 am to 9:30 am. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to Chepachet Union Church, 1138 Putnam Pike, Chepachet, RI 02814.
