FALL RIVER – Margarida (Aguiar) Machado, age 60, passed away peacefully on November 20, 2019 at Charlton Memorial Hospital. She was the beloved wife of the late Francisco Machado. Born in Remedeios da Bretanha, São Miguel, Açores, she was the daughter of Francisco and Maria (Aguiar) Pedro. Margarida loved to cook and bake but most of all babysitting and spending time with family and friends.
Margarida is survived by her children Bryan Machado (companion Stacey Moniz) of New Bedford and Ashley Machado of Fall River; granddaughter Kylie Machado; siblings Maria Mello, Tony Pedro, Amelia Espinola, Leonilde Cabral and Jose Pedro; as well as many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her siblings John and Alda Pedro.
Her funeral service will take place in the Manuel Rogers & Sons Funeral Home, INC. 1521 N. Main St. Fall River on Saturday, November 23rd at 10 A.M. Interment St. Patrick’s Cemetery. Visitation Saturday morning, November 23rd 8- 10 A.M. www.rogersfuneral.com.
