Obituary

Madeleine R. Pimley, 74, of Londonderry, NH, passed away Monday November 18, 2019 in the High Pointe Hospice in Haverhill, MA. She was born in Stratford, Quebec, Canada on March 25, 1945, a daughter of the late Gedeon and Monique (Giroux) Rodrigue, and had been a resident of Londonderry for the past 48 years. Madeleine previously was a communicant of St. Jude Parish in Londonderry and more recently St. Francis of Assisi Church in Litchfield. She was a member of the Women’s Guild, was a eucharistic minister and was a sacristan. Madeleine loved her Lord, enjoyed bringing Christ to those who were homebound, and spending time with her grandchildren.

She is survived by her five daughters, Sonja Marino, Monique Pimley-Parker, Brenda Pimley, Cynthia Marshe, and Kathleen Lemay; one son, William Pimley; 19 grandchildren; 25 great grandchildren; 3 great great grandchildren; as well as two godchildren, Karmen Chartier and Colin Lambert. She was also survived by seven of her siblings, Andree Grondin, Olivette Latulippe, Huguette Quirion, Anita Kowzun, Rene Rodrigue, Lucille Kluz, and her sister of the heart Eleanor Rodrigue. She was predeceased by her beloved husband of 34 years, Francis (Ike) Pimley in 1999.

There are no calling hours. Following cremation, a Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on Monday, November 25, 2019 at 11:00am at St. Francis of Assisi Church, 9 St. Francis Way, Litchfield, NH. Burial followed in St. Joseph's Cemetery, 448 Donald Street, Bedford, NH. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Parish 435 Mammoth Road, Londonderry, NH 03053 or St. Francis of Assisi, 9 St. Francis Way Litchfield, NH 03052.
