Kathryn Jones Montgomery,96, lifelong resident of Water Valley,died in the Yalobusha County General Hospital Wednesday evening, January 25, 2006. The widow of Robert Edward Montgomery, Sr, she was a homemaker and a member of the First Christian Church of Water Valley, MS.
Visitation will be held on Friday evening , January 27, 2006 at Seven Oaks Funeral Home from 6:00 Pm until 8:00 Pm and funeral services will be in Henry Chapel of Seven Oaks Funeral Home on Saturday, January 28, 2006 at 11:00 Am. Brother David Freeman will conduct the service with burial to follow in Oak Hill Cemetery in Water Valley, Ms. Serving as pallbearers are: Donald Henderson, Kenny Weeks, Lewis Camp, Jerry Hill, Larry Hart and Bobby Cox.
Mrs. Montgomery is survived by her son, Robert Edward Montgomery, Jr of Memphis, Tn.
In addition to her husband,she was preceded in death by her parents, Johnny James Jones and Josephine Vaughn Jones.
