Scott Brandon Cathcart, 38 yrs old. Formerly of South Boston, MA. Resident of New Port Richey, Florida. Has passed away suddenly on November 9, 2019.
Survived by his loving Parents Patricia Duquette of Dorchester, MA and Scott Cathcart of Quincy, MA. He is also survived by his loving Fiance Stephanie Lanning of New Port Richey, FL. and their daughters Haileigh and Skyla Cathcart. Also loving Father to Dylan Cathcart of North Dakota.
Scott is also survived by his loving Step-Mother Kelli Ferrara of Quincy, MA. And his siblings including Christopher Cathcart, Michael Cathcart, Timothy Cathcart, Kevin Cathcart, Kimberly Cathcart, Kaitlyn Ferrara, and Posthumously Joseph Ferrara.
He is also survived by many Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, Nieces and Nephews. Scott also has many friends that were so close that they are considered family to him. Scott was loved dearly by so many people that the outpouring of support has been amazingly overwhelming.
Scott was the type of person that if he knew you and liked you, he was the most loyal and dependable friend any person could hope to have in his life. If he didn't like you, Scott was also the type of person to let you know that, too. So you knew where you stood with him always. That is a trait that is very rare and will be missed by all that knew and loved him.
Scott’s children Dylan, Haileigh and Skyla were the most important in his life! Although he was not perfect his kids never questioned his love for them. They know that they came first and will always continue to be first in his heart, now and forever.
We will be holding services for Scott at Casper Funeral Home, 187 Dorchester Street in South Boston on November 23rd, 2019 from 12-3PM. All are welcome to attend.
